WHAT? SLY & THE FAMILY STONE SIGN TO CLEOPATRA?

Cleopatra Records says that they have signed Sly & The Family Stone to a new deal. Huh? I am a huge fan of the band, but it's hard to believe. Cleopatra is a goth/industrial label which became a licencing label that puts out lots of other music: right now their website advertises a Johnny Cash anthology, a Yes BBC collection and "Monster Ballads" complilation. Hardly the place that seems right for a legendary artist like Sly, but he is probably tough to work with. Not to put the label down. I wish everyone luck, I hope it works out. It is hard to imagine Sly approaching his '60s/'70s brilliance, but let's check it out before judging!
