BOB DYLAN: WORKING ON A CHRISTMAS ALBUM?

The blog The Bully Pulpit reports that Bob Dylan has been working on a Christmas album. I'd check that out. For now, I'm glad that Bob is playing great shows again, and still making great secular albums - Together Through Life is my favorite album of 2009.

In other Bob news, there was a funny story about him getting picked up by the cops in New Jersey, where he was walking around before a show. He's recently talked about his hobby of visiting the childhood homes of songwriters that he respects. He was a few blocks away from where Bruce Springsteen wrote songs for Born To Run. The funny thing is that the cops who picked him up, in their 20s, had no idea who he is.
